Bio:
Glenn Tan is the Deputy Chairman of Tan Chong International, a leading automotive group in Asia with operations across more than 10 countries and territories. He has been with the company for over 12 years, during which he has held several senior leadership roles, including Managing Director and Executive Director.
His core expertise spans new business development, marketing communications, executive leadership, and digital transformation. He has led large-scale change initiatives to modernise operations, leverage emerging technologies, and unlock new growth opportunities within the automotive sector.
He has been directly involved in setting up automotive-related businesses and manufacturing facilities across Asia, establishing a Medium-Term Note (MTN) programme, and acquiring a listed Japanese logistics company. He currently leads lean and agile teams responsible for more than 5,000 employees across the region and has developed performance measurement systems to drive accountability and performance.
His mission is to drive innovation and operational excellence in the automotive industry while creating long-term value for customers, partners, and stakeholders.
