Jim is a highly accomplished leader with over 40 years of experience in branding, marketing, and advertising across Asia Pacific, who has made a deliberate and powerful shift from managing global MNCs to building and scaling SMEs. He combines deep creative vision with sharp business acumen, demonstrated not just through founding and managing agencies, but specifically through his focus on SME agility and growth. After establishing more than 15 companies in APAC and running them successfully, he moved away from the corporate MNC model entirely. For the past 16 years, he has built his own group of companies headquartered in Singapore with subsidiaries across Asia and Europe - specialising in integrated marketing, brand design, performance marketing, and tech development - proving that SME-led entrepreneurship can outperform traditional corporate structures across the region.
His extensive background includes senior marketing roles at blue-chip companies such as Novartis, Gillette, LVMH-Diageo, The Boots Company, and Omnicom, giving him unique insight into both client and agency perspectives. This well-rounded expertise has enabled him to deliver exceptional results for a diverse range of prestigious clients, including Prada, Shell, FWD, AIG, local SMEs and government entities like IMDA, MCCY, HDB and many more.
